So long Camden

Thank you all for supporting Sounds That Swing and No Hit Records and I wish you all a Happy New Year – Martin
Thank you all for supporting Sounds That Swing and No Hit Records and I look forward to continuing to supply you with fantastic music – Martin

The biggest news ever for us is that our physical shop in Camden, Sounds That Swing, has closed. It is sad that another physical shop has closed, but you lovely people online have been subsidising it for quite a while and the lease had come to an end, so it really was time to call it a day.

What does that mean to all you music lovers around the world? I hope it means even better service to you all. I am now ensconced in my record cave, although I am still sorting through tons of records. I guess most of you know your way around our out-of-this-world website. If you have not visited us lately, take a good look, as we have been working hard on it over the last few months. We have updated our search function and amended a lot of the items on the site, so it should be easier to find the RnB 45s, Rockabilly LPs, or whatever it is that you want.

Our next big project will be adding tons of great music that was in the physical shop but not online. We have 45s, albums, CDs and more. We have not quite figured what order we will do things in, but you will be seeing a lot of stuff you will not see listed anywhere else, both original issues and top quality reissues. It is all about the music.

You know, while I think of it please, please send us your wants list. It will help us expand your collection. We have originals and reissues across all the genres we sell.
