88 Parkway, Camden Town, London NW1 7AN
Marcel Bontempi and his Snake Oil Company are back with their second single. Recorded in a barn and without any props or false floors, you get straight hillbilly from the weird side with no drums at all and a lot of steel-guitar howling, fiddle squeeking and a cottonfield holler. On the A-side you got “Bonfire”, Jimmy Pipers murder tale in a new livery. Over on the B-side is Young Jessie’s song “Country Cousin”, played and sounding as this here version could be the original. Both songs are brand new and never before released
