Handsome William “Billy Boy” Arnold, a Windy City native, was blessed with harmonica tuition as a child by a neighbour who happened to be none other than legendary Sonny Boy Williamson the first.
He made his recording debut on Cool Records at the tender age of 16, but his recent sides for the Vee Jay label, as featured here, prove that he has mastered the art of the rockin’ blues
