These records won't collect themselves...
This intense 1973 recording by the great John Edwards first surfaced on a Kent CD in the late 90s. It has continued to win admirers over the years and is now at last on the vinyl medium for which it was recorded. Loleatta Holloway’s ‘This Man’s Arms’ was intended as the flip of ‘Bring It On Up’, her 1971 Galaxy single, but was dropped and replaced by ‘Rainbow 71’, an earlier Apache side. We used that Galaxy edit on Loleatta’s Kent CD but a lengthier Aware version on a 100 Club anniversary single in 1998. This release is the much-coveted long recording.
