LEON BOWMAN – ROCKING THE BLUES / BLACK WIDOW SPIDER – REED

Pounding rocker ‘Rocking The Blues’ features some of the toughest guitar licks and drums you’ll ever hear on a rock and roll record. It was first issued in 1958 on a four track EP on the Alabama-based Reed label along with ‘Black Widow Spider’ and two other hillbilly songs.  I’ve put both sides up as they really are pretty different from each other and I can easily see different people preferring each side.
