Before their appearance on our “Pied Piper Presents…” CD, these two tracks existed only as publisher’s acetates. An acetate of Nancy Wilcox’s ‘Gamblers Blues’ sold for a four-figure sum a few years ago and became a dancefloor hit when spun mainly at southern venues. Lorraine Chandler’s gloriously produced ‘I Hear Music’ is one of her most beautiful and haunting songs and deserves greater exposure.
