Watusi side is a great RnB dance craze shot that has all the ingredients of a hit even though it missed the charts on release in 1962.  Great vocals from lead and backing, super sax and driving bass beat.  It sounds like a party in the studio.   Now with this being a 1962 45 the flip side hits right into the crossover genre that has been identified to describe these lovely numbers that cross the bridge from RnB into Soul.
