SLEEPY JEFFERS / SLEEPLY LA BEF – DUMPLIN PIE / ALL THE TIME –SWANKY 45

A Sleepy double bill.  Sleepy La Beef is a rockabilly giant both in physical and  recording stature.  This is an alternative cut of his 1957 Starday recorded classic that was issued on Mercury records and is a match for the issued version.  Sleepy Jeffers by contrast is practically unknown with just one release on Starday also recorded in 1957.  On this side Jeffers is again working with the Davis Twins to create a brilliant boppin’ hillbilly number.

These have never been avail on 45 before and are presented here in great sound quality on this limited edition pressing in a great full colour sleeve.
