WYNONIE HARRIS – BLOODSHOT EYES / GOOD MORNING JUDGE – KING

You know how much we love this rock-n-roll-before-the-term-was-created genre? Here is a reissue that really hammers this home. Good Morning Judge was recorded and issued in 1950 and Bloodshot Eyes in 1951. When they were issued they would have been called Blues Jumpers and Wynonie Harris was one of the great Blues Shouters. This coupling of these great tracks though was reissued in 1955 just as Rock n Roll exploded across America and the World. So are these Blues Shouters, Jump, RnB or Rock n Roll? Or alll of the above? They’re Fantastic!
