GENE SUMMERS – SCHOOL OF ROCK N ROLL – MULTIGROOVE 10″ LP

Gene Summers is best known for the three storming  Texas Rockabilly 45s he recorded in 1958 for  Jan / Jane, especially the killer that gives this album its title.  On here you get 5 released sides from those plus another 4 that were recorded at the same sessions but unreleased at the time.  Some of these such as The Push and Fancy Dan have become firm favourites.   The remaining tracks are recorded the next year and some may be slower paced but they retain all the power of the better known tracks.

Another great album in the multigroove collecting the best tracks from the cream of the crop of Rockabilly artists.  As always this LP has fabulous packaging and equally great sound.  Limited press so get in quick.
