ULIE AND THE UNIQUES – YOU DON’T LOVE ME / AFTER SCHOOL – UNI

Well this one surprised me.  A seriously swinging song, with fabulous production values and a wonderful big orchestra backing sound.  This is apparently from 1961 but it sounds a lot earlier to me.  It has an insistent groove that gets right under your skin and into your brain.  (I’m gonna use apparently again) Apparently this is a hit on the Souls scene.  The flip side is an intense ballad.
